Job Description

  • Lead the operational procurement and responsible for domestic and oversea sourcing, purchasing and monitor delivery, payment.
  • Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business saving utilizing negotiation and purchasing best practice tools and methods.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies, procedures, and specifications.
  • Working with forwarders to do customs clearance the imported goods applied for oversea suppliers.
  • Work with domestic and oversea toller and follow up OEM orders & payment. 
  • Ensure procurement operations and workflows comply with regulatory safety and quality requirements.
  • Implement and operate SAP system to manage and maintain high quality and accurate data records of purchases, shipments, supply of goods, etc.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with suppliers to leverage on the opportunities of cost reduction and service efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly procurement reports to key stakeholders.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to deliver value and reduce cost in the procurement process.
  • Evaluate vendor performance to propose recommendations for future business dealings.
  • Explore alternative sources for goods, service, materials, packaging, chemical.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience working as a procurement specialist in the same area required in FMCG Industry.
  • Experience in customs clearance would be preferred.
  • Materials & packaging background with substantial professional experience (>4 yrs.) in Purchasing/ Buyer/ Sourcing. 
  • Preferred candidates have experience in procuring of raw materials, packaging, chemical, OEM and have experience in The process Procurement form end to end process. 
  • Good command of PC skills including advanced Excel skills.
  • Time management skills, planning for assigned tasks
  • Experience with ERP (SAP) would be preferred
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze reports.
  • Good knowledge of the industry and market conditions
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Hard-working, careful, meticulous, and able to work under high pressure.
  • Intermediate ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Others: Agreeing to go on business trips to the Củ Chi Factory, Binh Dương Factory, Ba Vi Factory, Hanoi office, Central Warehouse, or as per the task requirement.
