Job Summary
The OEM & Outsourcing Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing and production cycle of finished goods manufactured by external partners (Original Equipment Manufacturers). This role involves sourcing international and domestic suppliers, procuring raw materials/packaging for outsourced production, and managing all supporting services in foreign markets to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
A. Global & Domestic OEM Sourcing
- Supplier Identification: Research and identify potential OEM/ODM partners in domestic and international markets.
- Audit & Qualification: Conduct supplier assessments in collaboration with QA/QC teams to evaluate technical capabilities, factory capacity, and compliance with international standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP).
- Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate conversion costs, minimum order quantities (MOQ), production lead times, and payment terms to ensure competitive pricing and flexibility.
B. Raw Material & Packaging Procurement (Supplied to OEM)
- Supply Chain Coordination: Procure the necessary raw materials, ingredients, or packaging components to be sent to OEM sites for production.
C. International Service Procurement
- Logistics & Forwarding: Source and manage international freight forwarders, customs brokerage, and local transportation services in foreign markets.
- Warehousing: Arrange for temporary storage or consolidation hubs in foreign markets if required for the supply chain flow.
D. Project & Relationship Management
- Timeline Tracking: Manage the "Critical Path" from purchase order issuance to final delivery, ensuring all stakeholders meet deadlines.
- Risk Mitigation: Monitor geopolitical risks, exchange rate fluctuations, and trade policy changes that may impact international production.
- Conflict Resolution: Lead the resolution of claims regarding product defects, short-shipments, or production delays with the OEM partners.
*Work location: 217 Nguyen Van Thu Street, Da Kao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
*Working hours: 44 hours/week, Monday to Friday & Saturday mornings (flexible WFH).
1.Education level/ Trình độ học vấn
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
2.Year of Experienced/ Số năm kinh nghiệm:
- Proven experience working as a procurement specialist in the same area required.
- Experience in importation would be preferred.
- Technical engineering background with substantial professional experience (4 yrs.) in Purchasing/ Buyer/ Sourcing.
- Preferred candidates have experience in procuring of equipment, spare part, construction
- Good command of PC skills including advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP (SAP) would be preferred.
